Was disappointed yesterday when i came in to get a quote to have springs, Shocks and a camber kit installed on an old civic. I was quoted 10hrs of labor from the computer program they were using for the estimate. MY car is a 1990 Civic and has one of the easiest suspensions to work on ever made. I was told that because its rusty probably going to take extra time. I explained that it was not a rusty car and if someone wanted to look at it quick maybe we could come up with a fair price. Did not seem interested. In total i was told it was going to be over $900. Im sure this is a great shop that does terrific work. I chose this spot because ive driven by the shop and always seen older Miatas and sports cars out front and the website seemed geared towards that. Wasnt expecting to get the normal car repair treatment. Again im not knocking there service im sure there great. It would take any mechanic an hour hour mayber hour in a half to have the suspension completely out of the car. Guess i was hoping for a fair quote or to be charged by the hours it took. Not by a computer program.
We are sorry you feel that we are over priced, however the car needs approximately 8-10 hours to replace everything that you would like to have replaced. Our hourly rate is $95 per hour.
